Disney’s Hollywood Studios to Close Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show and More

Walt Disney World has announced that it will be closing several attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on April 2 to make room for the upcoming Star Wars and Toy Story expansion projects.

Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show

Among them is Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show, which opened at the park in 2005, and is based on the Disneyland Paris show, Moteurs… Action! Stunt Show Spectacular.

Disney says daily shows will continue up to the closing date, so there is still time to check out the show again before it’s gone.

Honey I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure is also closing April 2. It has been a great area to let young kids burn off some energy since it opened in 1990.

The neighboring Studio Catering Co. will also be closing on April 2. This quick service restaurant was a convenient place to grab a bite at the back of the park.

The rest of the announced closing include Writer’s Stop coffee and book shop, Monsters Inc. Character Meet and Greet, and Watto’s Grotto.

These join the already announced end of the annual Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights on the Streets of America, since that location will also be torn down to make way for the new projects.

Which of these closings are you going to miss most?
