Swine & Sons Provisions in Winter Park Opens April 3, 2015

Swine & Sons Provisions, the latest food undertaking from Cask & Larder’s James and Julie Petrakis, opens to the public on Friday, April 3.

Swine & Sons Provisions – Southern Cuban sandwich with house-made chips

The dining menu consists of made-to-order sandwiches, like Pimento Grilled Cheese with bacon and pickled green tomato, and a Southern Cuban with country ham, roast pork, collards, pepper jelly, and swiss cheese. The house-made meats will also be sold by the pound to take home.

There is also a section of starters and sides that lean towards a southern taste, like Bacon Collards with molasses and sherry vinegar, and Marinated Tomatoes with cucumber, onion, feta, and verjus vinaigrette.

Swine & Sons Provisions will offer a “Daily Blue Pig Special” menu that will change each day, and what you find this Tuesday may not be what you find next Tuesday. So if it sounds good, order it.

Need something sweet to top off the meal? They’ve got that, too. The selection includes Pecan Pie Bars, Cuban Scone, Chocolate Stout Brownie, and seasonally inspired homemade ice creams.

In addition to non-alcoholic beverages, you can wash your meal down with wine or a craft beer brewed at Cask & Larder.

Swine & Sons Provisions is located at 595 W. Fairbanks in Winter Park, next to Cask & Larder. It will be open Tuesday through Sunday 10am to 7pm, and closed on Mondays. For more information, or to view the menu, visit swineandsons.com.
