Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild Comes to Central Florida Zoo

This winter, the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens in Sanford will transform at night into the Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild from November 19, 2021 – January 16, 2022.

The Asian Lantern Festival: Into the Wild celebrates the culture, art, and beauty of traditional lantern festivals celebrated throughout Asia for centuries.

Enjoy over 30 different, hand-constructed illuminated lanterns displayed around the Zoo on a 3/4 mile path.

In addition to the hand-made LED lit lanterns, festival attendees will get to enjoy local food and beverage options, live music, and authentic artisan crafts.

This inaugural event was created in partnership with Tianyu Arts & Culture, Inc., an international event design and manufacturing company headquartered in Zigong, Sichuan, China.

TICKETS

The Asian Lantern Festival is a separately ticketed event and is not included with regular Zoo admission. It runs from 6-10pm nightly.

Tickets start at $15.50 for Zoo members and $18.50 for non-members, per person. A family four-pack of tickets starts at $50. Children 2 and under are free but still need a ticket for admission.
