Orlando Science Center Hosts #Otronicon Edition of Science Night Live Jan 19, 2019

Science Night Live! at Orlando Science Center

Normally the Orlando Science Center is fun for all ages, but on select nights, it’s reserved strictly for adults 21+. That night is Science Night Live and it returns January 19, 2019.

It’s also taking place during Otronicon, so you can enjoy hands-on workshops from industry professionals, interact with exhibitors like Disney, NASA, and Lockheed Martin to discover their newest technology, try your hand at surgery using Florida Hospital’s Intuitive Da Vinci Robot, or interact with the world’s most powerful Xbox One consoles with Microsoft!

Guests can also check out local Orlando artist Synthestruct’s audiovisual show, Viscerality. This rare, immersive full-dome experience incorporating Mi.Mu Gloves is sure to captivate audiences. Synthestruct (a.k.a. multimedia artist Ginger Leigh) is an interactive and audiovisual designer who uses sensors and creative coding to connect with the world around us and generate imaginary worlds to be explored.

There will be food and adult beverages for purchase during the evening, too.
