We’re mere months away from the opening of Universal Orlando‘s newest attraction Skull Island: Reign of Kong, and our family writer Carol Garreans captured a photo update on the progress.
Nestled between Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls and the Jurassic Park River Adventure at Islands of Adventure, the attraction has a Summer 2016 projected opening.
As of the beginning of this month, it looks like the attraction is coming together nicely, and will have a prominent landscape within the park:
Skull Island: Reign of Kong will feature new ride technology, and be a multi-sensory immersive experience. Universal Pictures also has an upcoming movie, Kong: Skull Island, starring Tom Hiddleston (Thor, The Avengers), due in theaters in March 2017.
