Enter to Win Tickets to the Winter Science Spectacular at the Orlando Science Center Dec 19 – Jan 3

Holidays in Florida are not known for white winters, but the Orlando Science Center is changing that with their Winter Science Spectacular running December 19 through January 3, 2016.

Winter Science Spectacular at the Orlando Science Center

Learn while you have fun, with exhibits like “Animals in Winter” which shows how different animals adapt to cold weather changes where they live, including hibernating, migrating, and more.

This area will also provide and introduction to snow for those of us who aren’t able to experience it this holiday season. Find out what it’s like to be outside in snowy weather and learn the science behind why there are different types of snow.

There will be hands-on holiday crafting, including playing with gingerbread play dough, creating doily snowflakes, making pom pom snow globes, and more.

And what’s winter fun without skating? The Winter Science Spectacular will offer indoor skating on a synthetic skating rink made of a special material for friction-free skating. You won’t even need a winter jacket.

Orlando Science Center will have showings of some holiday favorites such as Elf and The Muppets Christmas Carol in the Digital Adventure Theater: A National Geographic Experience, as well as a holiday music laser light show in the Dr. Phillips CineDome.

All of this is included with regular admission, which is $19.95 for adults, $17.95 for seniors and students with ID, and $13.95 for children ages 3-11. It’s free for OSC members. For more information, visit osc.org.

But thanks to the Orlando Science Center, we have a four-pack of tickets to check out the Winter Science Spectacular, and the rest of the OSC, for FREE!
