Central Florida’s Seminole Towne Center Will Be Going Pink October 23-24, 2015

Sanford’s Seminole Towne Center is showing its support for Breast Cancer Awarness this month with two special events the weekend of October 23-24.

Unite against Breast Cancer for the 4th Annual Pink By Design Fashion Show and Extravaganza in Center Court on Friday, October 23, beginning at 5pm. The event will include fall fashions and a Shop Pink Extravaganza with mammography scheduling and gift basket drawings from Florida Hospital. On October 24, take part in the late night Glow the Mall Pink Midnight Madness 5k. The run starts at 11:55pm, in the parking lot near Dillard’s. A portion of the proceeds will be given to local Breast Cancer support charities. Runners, walkers and strollers are welcome. All finishing participants will receive a t-shirt, pink glow necklace, free entry into a post party and a custom medal. The top finishers in various age categories will receive special awards and honors will be handed out to a dance contest winner and best costume/glow outfit! “Everyone knows someone whose family has been touched by breast cancer,” said Shelley Sloan, director of marketing and business development at Seminole Towne Center. “Through these events, Seminole Towne Center hopes to empower breast cancer survivors, everywhere, and raise awareness regarding early detection and treatment.”
