Last year, we wrote about Universal Orlando‘s plan to build a new on-property resort called Cabana Bay Beach Resort. Last week, they released a teaser video about it.
Cabana Bay is an 1,800-room resort themed like the road motels of the 1950’s and 1960’s. It will be the “value” hotel for Universal Orlando, and it is situated next to the Royal Pacific Resort, across the street from Islands of Adventure.
Amenities will include a lazy river, two swimming pools, and bus service to the theme parks (no water shuttle, like the other three).
Cabana Bay Beach Resort is slated to open in first-quarter 2014.
