Shrek Popcorn Flicks in the Park Winter ParkEscape to the land of Far, Far Away, because Shrek is the movie that will be playing at this month’s Popcorn Flicks in the Park in Winter Park, on August 8.

Held at Central Park, this free monthly outdoor event is open to all ages. Bring your own blankets to sit on, and snacks and beverages to enjoy during the film.

Shrek will start at 8pm, weather providing. Popcorn Flicks in the Park is presented by the City of Winter Park and Enzian Theater.

Central Park is located at 251 S. Park Ave in Winter Park.

‘The Sting’ is the Free ‘Popcorn Flicks in the Park’ on April 9, 2013

pfitp-thestingGrab the family and head over to Central Park in Winter Park, for this month’s edition of Popcorn Flicks in the Park.

Airing on the outdoor screen will be the film classic, The Sting, starring Robert Redford and Paul Newman. It was the winner of seven Academy Awards and is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2013.

This event is free, and you need to bring your own blankets or seating. It is also a part of the Florida Film Festival, which runs from April 5-14.
