Last night CitySurfing Orlando was invited to opening night of the return of “Six The Musical” at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, and we, along with the rest of the audience, had so much fun!
The Orlando Philharmonic will open its 2013-2014 season with a concert at Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre on Saturday, September 28, 2013.
Conducted by Music Director Christopher Wilkins, the program will include Nelson’s Savannah River Holiday, Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 20, featuring guest pianist Jon Kimura Parker and Strauss’s Ein Heldenleben (A Hero’s Life).

Prior to the concert there will be an opening night dinner gala, hosted by the Friends of the Orlando Philharmonic at the Sheraton Downtown Orlando beginning at 5:45pm. There will be music, mingling, cocktails, and dinner followed by an elegant post concert reception. Black tie optional.
Tickets for the dinner gala are $110 per person, available at FriendsOrlandoPhil.org. Friends members tickets are $95. Concert tickets are sold separately.
