
Orlando Museum Of Art’s popular “Access For All” event returns with free admission on Thursday, August 20, 2026 from 10am to 8pm.
Launched as part of Orlando Museum of Art’s (OMA) centennial year, “Access for All” at OMA is a monthly free day dedicated to the community (except November when it takes a break for The Festival of Trees.

The August 20 Access for All schedule includes:
2:30pm | Gallery Talk
Museum-goers can join OMA’s curatorial team for an informal look at works on view, including selections from the Florida Prize in Contemporary Art exhibition.
4pm | Magnificent Aurora Fallen To Earth
An immersive play written by Florida Prize artist Mette Tommerup, performed by Phantasmagoria Unplugged, in the Florida Prize in Contemporary Art exhibition.
5-7pm | Sketching in the Galleries
Sketching materials will be available for visitors of all ages who want to draw inspiration from the museum’s galleries throughout the evening.
5:30pm | Magnificent Aurora Fallen To Earth
A second performance of Florida Prize artist Mette Tommerup’s immersive play by Phantasmagoria Unplugged.
7pm | Highlights Tour
A docent will lead guests on a highlights tour of the collection, offering family-friendly conversation starters from gallery to gallery.
By 8pm | Last opportunity to vote for the Florida Prize in Contemporary Art People’s Choice Award, which will be announced Friday, August 21.
This Access for All day marks visitors’ final chance to vote for their favorite installation in the Florida Prize in Contemporary Art exhibition to choose the People’s Choice winner, presented by AdventHealth.
The annual exhibition celebrating Florida artists has been on display since May 30, bringing guests closer to Florida-based artists throughout the summer. The exhibition will conclude on August 23, 2026.

Guests are also encouraged to view the museum’s current exhibitions, including the “Florida Prize in Contemporary Art,” “Echoes of the Ancient in Contemporary Voices,” and other permanent collection exhibitions. OMA also recently unveiled “USA 250: 250 Years on the Road to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness,” celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States.
