Broadway in Orlando brings Lerner & Loewe’s classic musical “My Fair Lady” to Orlando’s Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts May 9-14, 2023, and here’s what you need to know.

The Lincoln Center’s Touring Production of “My Fair Lady” tells the story of Eliza Doolittle (Madeline Powell), a young Cockney flower seller, and Henry Higgins (Jonathan Grunert), a linguistics professor who is determined to transform her into his idea of a “proper lady.” But who is really being transformed?

The show also stars John Adkison (Colonel Pickering),Madeline Brennan (Mrs. Pearce), Michael Hegarty (Alfred P. Doolittle), Nathan Haltiwanger (Freddy Eynsford-Hill) and Becky Saunders (Mrs. Higgins).

Central Florida native Maeghin Mueller plays several roles in the production (Mrs. Hopkins, Higgins’ Maids, ensemble, u/s Mrs. Pearce, u/s Mrs. Higgins). She grew up in Mount Dora before graduating from University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Music – Vocal Performance, and still resides in the Orlando area.

Directed by Bartlett Sher, the musical contains such classic songs as “I Could Have Danced All Night,” “The Rain in Spain,” “Wouldn’t It Be Loverly” and “On the Street Where You Live.”
