Having opened the ‘Backyard at the Ace’ concert venue, Ace Cafe Orlando continues to sign big-name bands and special events for music fans. There are two worth noting scheduled for January 2020: legendary punk band Black Flag, and rockers British Lion.
On Saturday, January 18, Ace Cafe welcomes British Lion, featuring Steve Harris of Iron Maiden. Harris is best known as the bassist and primary songwriter for the British heavy metal band, Iron Maiden. British Lion is Harris’s first-ever side project, and their eponymous 10-song debut album was released in 2012.
Tickets are $29.50, and parking passes are an additional $20 to park onsite. Both are available via Ticketweb.com. All tickets include a digital download of British Lion’s forthcoming album.
Then on Saturday, January 25, Black Flag will take the indoor stage for an all ages show. Widely considered to be one of the first hardcore punk bands, as well as one of the pioneers of post-hardcore, Black Flag’s live show in not to be missed.
Tickets are $35 for general admission and $55 for upstairs VIP. Both are available via Ticketweb.com.
