Enzian Theater to Host David Bowie Tribute Week Jan 15-21, 2016

In honor of the passing of the legendary David Bowie, the Enzian in Maitland is hosting a tribute week, honoring the artist’s thespian endeavors.

They will be alternating showings of two of Bowie’s most popular movie roles: Labyrinth and The Man Who Fell to Earth.

Labyrinth, released in 1986, had Bowie playing the Goblin King, who takes 15-year old Sarah’s baby brother. She must reach the center of the fantastical labyrinth to save him, but encounters many strange creatures on her journey. The movie will air January 15, 17, 19, and 21, at 9:30pm nightly.

In 1976’s The Man Who Fell to Earth, Bowie plays Thomas Jerome Newton, a humanoid alien to comes to Earth to get water for his dying planet. The movie will air January 16, 18, and 20, at 9:30pm nightly.

Tickets for each show are $8.50 for Enzian members, $11 for non-members, and $9 for students/seniors.
