Every few months, Orlando radio station WMMO sponsors a free concert in downtown Orlando, and the next one will be Cheap Trick on October 24.

Cheap Trick to Headline WMMO Downtown Concert Series
The legendary rockers have been entertaining their legion of fans for over four decades, and show no signs of slowing down.

The band, comprised of Robin Zander (lead vocals), Rick Nielsen (lead guitar), Tom Petersson (bass), and Bun E. Carlos (drums), first formed in the early 70s in Rockford, Illinois. Their biggest hits since then include “Surrender”, “I Want You to Want Me”, “Dream Police” and “The Flame,” and their live album Cheap Trick at Budokan, is still one of the best concert albums ever.

The reason for this is that Cheap Trick is the ultimate rock’n’roll band on stage, and you can find that out for yourself at this free concert.

Gates open at 4pm, but if you want to actually be able to sit, you need to purchase a VIP pass for $49 that also includes VIP bar and bathroom access.

For more info on the concert, or to purchase VIP, visit wmmo.com. You can also pay to see them the night before, October 23, at the Capitol Theatre in Clearwater. Tickets are $49 and $59, with a $275 Meet & Greet package option. Visit rutheckerdhall.com to purchase.
