On February 5, we were invited to watch a dress rehearsal of the Orlando Philharmonic with guest Sarina Zhang as they performed a program of Russian Romance classics by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff.

Juilliard’s 18-year-old Sarina Zhang guests with the Orlando Philharmonic on a program of Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff, called Russian Romance, for two shows on February 8 and 9.
The pieces that will be performed are Tchaikovsky “Variations on a Rococo Theme,” Rachmaninoff “Symphonic Dances,” and Rachmaninoff “Piano Concerto No. 2.”
Zhang will perform on both the piano and cello during the program. Christopher Wilkins will be the conductor.
Showtimes are at 8pm on Saturday, and 2pm on Sunday, at the Bob Carr P.A.C.
