Ahead of the impending arrival of what is now Tropical Storm Idalia, Rosen Hotels & Resorts has activated its Florida Resident Distress Rates, giving evacuees a safe, affordable place to call home as they ride out the storm.
Rosen Hotels & Resorts is presenting an array of holiday entertainment, from visits from Santa to an ice skating rink to a Winter Wonderland Festival, and they are open to all, even if you aren’t staying at a Rosen property.
- December 14th (4:00pm-10:00pm) and December 15th (11:00am-4:00pm) – Skate on the synthetic Ice Skating Rink located on the outdoor patio at Rosen Centre Hotel. With interactive characters, face painting, balloon art, photo booth, DJ and more, there’s plenty to enjoy. $16.00 Per Adult including Skates (10 and up) and $10.00 Per Child (6-9 years old).
- December 14th, December 20th and 21st (6:30pm -9:30pm) – The 2nd annual Winter Wonderland Festival at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort, featuring gently falling snow, holiday holiday carolers, the Shingle Creek Express train, a beautifully decorated 25-foot Christmas tree, storytelling with Mrs. Claus, holiday movies, karaoke and appearances from winter characters such as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Santa and the first ever “Live Remote Controlled Toys.”
- December 15th and 22nd (6:30pm -9:30pm) – Rosen Shingle Creek will also hold the 1st Annual European Winter Fair featuring a European gift mart and culinary crafting. Booths, displayed on the decorated outdoor patio, will offer exquisite gifts and crafts, cocktails and food, chocolate workshops, ornament-making elves, cookie decorating with holiday characters, custom Christmas stockings, card making and more.
- December 15 (2-4pm) – Join Fred Schneider of the B-52s for a special reading of “Sassafrass Jones and the Search for a Forever Home” at Rosen Centre Hotel
