Orlando Philharmonic featuring Orlando Gay Chorus Presents An American Salute at Bob Carr P.A.C. on October 12

On Saturday, October 12, the Orlando Philharmonic will open its 2013-2014 pops series with a concert entitled An American Salute, featuring Orlando Gay Chorus and guest conductor Albert-George Schram. It will be held at the Bob Carr P.A.C.

Albert-George SchramThe program includes “St. Louis Blues,” “Orange Blossom Special,”  “America the Beautiful,” “Battle Hymn of the Republic” and Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture.

There will be two shows, at 2pm and 8pm, and maestro Schram will host pre-concert conversations with the audience one hour prior to each show, in the rehearsal hall backstage.
