Free National Park Entry In Honor of Veterans Day on November 11, 2014

In Honor of Veterans Day, the US Park Service is waiving entry fees to all national parks, including those in Florida, November 11, 2014.

Canavaral National Seashore and Wildlife RefugeAmong those within a day trip of the Orlando area are:

Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included unless stated otherwise

As part of its annual National Public Lands Day, the US Park Service is waiving entry fees to all national parks, including those in Florida, September 27, 2014.

No Fees Today at All National and State Parks in Florida

The National Park Service is waiving fees for everyone today (November 11) to enjoy the parks for FREE.

In Florida it includes the Central Florida parks of Canaveral National Seashore (Titusville) and Castillo de San Marcos National Monument (St. Augustine).

The state of Florida is also getting in on this act by waiving all fees for today only.

This includes area parks like Blue Spring, De Leon Springs, Lake Kissimmee and Wekiwa Springs. The Florida State Parks website has a full listing of all state parks, along with maps.

So grab your family or a group of friends and enjoy a day outside, for free.
