Participate in a Rally/Picnic to Save the Live Oaks at Constitution Green Park March 21

Join with other citizens of Orlando at a rally to try to save some old live oak trees, one of which is over 100 years old.

Constitution GreenConstitution Green is an Orlando park that is privately owned by the Caruso family. It has been maintained by the City of Orlando for many years, and the public has enjoyed this space with the beautiful trees.

But now the Carusos want to sell the property, and doing so would mean these ancient oaks would be cut down. Efforts to reach a compromise to save the trees by Commissioner Sheehan have been rejected by the land owners.
