Orlando Out Fest Returns September 10-13 With Special Guest Ginger Minj

Orlando Fringe welcomes the return of Orlando Out Fest this which will take the stage on Thursday, September 10 through Sunday, September 13 with a free opening party on Wednesday, September 9th.

Orlando Out Fest is a celebration of Queer Theatre, Art, Music and Cinema, presented by Orlando Fringe and curated by George Wallace, Executive Director of The Center Orlando.

Due to her tour not happening, Ginger Minj, the reigning champion of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” is adding a surprise 75-minute cabaret show to the Out Fest Lineup. The choose-your-own-adventure style show, which includes live vocals, games and stories, will run at the Renaissance Theatre (415 E. Princeton St.) with performances at 9:15pm on September 10 and 4pm on September 12. Tickets are $18 and the show is restricted to ages 18 and older.

BEER WITH A QUEER | SwellFella Productions (September 11-12) – A queer tastes beer, he rants, there’s questions, he answers, he interviews someone. Experience this and more; Jeff Klein takes Beer with a Queer to the stage. Every show is different, don’t miss it.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF MISS SAMMY (FILM) | Big Fag Films (September 12-13) – Follow Orlando’s most beloved drag icon as she swans through The City Beautiful to her own soundtrack in Marcy’s fabulous costumes.

ERIKA MACDONALD: TEA TIME | Erika MacDonald (September 12-13) – F**k off, I’m steeping! “A thoughtful comedy” brewed for you! “Truly powerful and mesmerizing.” “Hard to describe but impossible to forget.” Funny. Chaotic. Fringe. And yes… there is tea.

JANINE KLEIN: GAY BAR STAR | John Ryan and his DIVAS (September 12-13) – Queer icon Janine Klein returns to O-town with her award-winning song and dance spectacular featuring fabulous new music, fierce costumes and gratuitous eye-candy!

GREETINGS FROM QUEERTOWN: ORLANDO | Watermark Publishing Group and Adrenaline Films (September 12-13) – Directed by Jess Keller and produced by Rick Todd and Tiona Langley, the film is an Adrenaline Films production that honors the trailblazers, advocates and community builders who helped shape Orlando.

HOT MESS: A COMEDY SHOW FOR CLOWNS | Bruce Ryan Costella (September 12-13) – Like the big gay comedy show of your dreams featuring performers doing some of the wildest drag, burlesque, clown and variety acts you’ve seen on stage. Hosted by Bruce Ryan Costella (@BRCostella).

HEY MYSTER, LETTERS TO THE MUSIC THAT HEALED ME | Myster Carter LLC (September 12-13) – This unique cabaret weaves personal letters with powerful musical pieces, showcasing how music inspires change and touches lives in a heartfelt journey of healing and resilience.

MITZI MORRIS: LIVE AT THE COME ON INN | Silver Dollar Productions (September 10-12) – Back by popular demand: MITZI MORRIS, America’s Favorite Pancake Hostess (trademark pending), returns in her award-winning one-woman cabaret. Missed her? Now’s your chance.

MOVIES OUT LOUD – “Who’s That Girl?” (September 11) – Presented by Watermark Out News. Hosted by the hilarious Gidget Galore and Lee Cohen. Interactive silliness at its best!

LEE COHEN COMEDY HOUR | Lee Cohen Comedy (September 13) – A stand-up comedy benefit show for The Center Orlando. All proceeds benefit The Center’s A Walk For Change AIDS Walk. Featuring dynamic Orlando based comics hosted by Lee Cohen.

SOUL EROTIC | X With Benefits: a Boylesque Showcase(September 11-13) – The thirst you can’t quench. The lingering touch. The Boylesque Showcase you must see. Will you be our next X?

TWO EYES | Two Eyes Film (September 12-13) – A Cinematic Triptych set in three distict time periods: 1868 Montana, 1979 California and 2023 Wyoming. Starring Academy Award nominee Lily Gladstone and Produced by Travis Fine.

WANZIE PRESENTS DELORIS SCRUD | Wanzie Presents (September 10-12) – Orlando’s favorite waitress Deloris Scrud is rich and famous and living at The View! Deloris recounts her European tour, audience with the Pope and her current love affair in this hilarious comedy.

WILD AND GAY ANIMAL KINKDOM | The Ugly Dog Presents (September 10-13) – Haywood J. Sloth and his kinky puppet friends are back to explore the wild and gay Animal Kinkdom! Catch a new version of the hit Fringe show with new acts made just for the Savoy stage!

Q THE LEGENDS | Dynamite Lunchbox Entertainment (September 10-13) – Award winning vocalist Tymisha Harris sings some of the greatest Queer anthems of all time in this love letter to her community and personal coming out story.

Orlando Fringe is proud to partner with The Center Orlando, The Renaissance Theatre Company and the Starlight Room at Savoy to host 21 shows and events. The venues are centralized in the Ivanhoe Village and Mills50 neighborhoods.
