YES, one of the biggest bands in prog rock history and true pioneers of the genre, are bringing their 50th Anniversary Tour to Plaza Live! Orlando on July 27, 2018.
Titled #YES50: Celebrating 50 Years of YES, the tour finds founding member/Grammy winner/Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Tony Kaye (keyboards; 1968-1971 and 1983-1995) joining Steve Howe (guitar since 1970), Alan White (drums since 1972), Geoff Downes (keyboards; first joined in 1980), Jon Davison (vocals since 2011), and Billy Sherwood (guitar/keyboards in the 1990s, and the late Chris Squire’s choice to take over bass/vocals in 2015) as a special guest during an extended encore, performing such YES hits as “Yours Is No Disgrace,” “Roundabout” and “Starship Trooper.”
Jon Anderson, one of the most recognizable voices in prog-rock, is bringing his solo acoustic tour to the House of Blues Orlando on Friday, October 25.
Anderson helped shape the sound of rock music in the 70s and 80s, as the lead vocalist and co-songwriter for the legendary band YES. He was instrumental in creating the band’s distinctive sound that produced such hits as “I’ve Seen All Good People,” “Roundabout,” and “Owner Of A Lonely Heart.”
Over his career, he has also released several solo albums, as well as collaborating on projects with other artists, such as former Yes bandmate Rick Wakeman.
The set list for this House of Blues solo acoustic show will include many classic songs from throughout the YES songbook, as well as his own eclectic work.
