Wine and Chocolate Festival Returns to Lakeridge Winery December 14-15, 2013

The weekend of December 14 and 15, 2012, Lakeridge Winery will be holding their annual Wine and Chocolate Festival.

Lakeridge Winery Wine and Chocolate FestivalIn addition to celebrating the pairing of wine with chocolate, the weekend will groove to the sounds of live music on the outdoor stage. The Ladyz & The Boyz, Bobby Blackmon, and BlueStone will perform on Saturday; Baby Blues & The No Attitude Band, and The Robert Harris Group will perform on Sunday.

There will be food and drink (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) for purchase, as well as local artists and crafters with wares for sale. You can also do a complimentary vineyard tour.

Event hours are 10am-5pm on Saturday, and 11am-5pm on Sunday. A $2.00 donation per person will be accepted at the gate to help benefit the American Heart Association.

3rd Annual Wine & Seafood Festival at Lakeridge Winery this Weekend

I love visiting Lakeridge Winery and doing their free tours and tastings. But what’s even more fun is their monthly festivals that pair the wines with delicious food and live music.

This coming weekend is one of those events, the annual Wine and Seafood Festival.

Marking the beginning of spring, the event has Lakeridge wine, beer soft drinks and a variety of seafood for purchase, along with free live music and an area with local arts and crafts vendors.

A $2 donation gets you into the festival, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Autism Society.

The event runs 10am to 5pm on Friday (March 26) and Saturday (March 27), and 11am to 5pm on Sunday (March 28).

All weekend long there will also be the normal free winery tours and tastings. I love their Southern White and Red wines.
