Upcoming Rock Shows at The Garage Bar in Sanford

Attention all 80s hard rock fans in Central Florida! If you’ve been looking for an excuse to bang your head in public, The Garage Bar up in Sanford has the bands for you.

Friday, November 5, Blandini will take the stage. The band features rock guitarist Jeff Blando, who has played with Slaughter, Vince Neil and Saigon Kick. Pure Vinyl and Megaphone are also scheduled.

Saturday, November 6, Firehouse returns to Orlando. The bill also includes Unchained Chaos, Julliett and Sixty Watt Sun.

Local band Iced Down hits the stage on Saturday, November 13. Never heard them but they seem to play a lot of the bike fests in Central Florida.

The month wraps up with an appearance by Warrant, headlining a bill with The Fugnutz and The Psycho Magnets. Jani is no longer fronting the band, but I’ve heard the current vocalist, and the band still sounds really good.

The Garage Bar is part of the Route 46 entertainment complex. It’s located on State Road 46, just east of I-4, next to BJ’s Wholesale Club.  Cover charge varies for bands, but the average, according to the club, is between $10 and $15 at the door.
