On November 7, Universal Orlando guests can be part of a special taping for the 2015 Nickelodeon HALO Awards, hosted by Nick Cannon, and featuring a performance by alternative-pop band WALK THE MOON.

The band are riding high on their #1 single “Shut Up and Dance,” and recently sold out the House of Blues Orlando. Their six-song set will include that song, along with their new track, “Different Colors.”

Out and About: WALK THE MOON Plays to Sold-Out Crowd at House of Blues Orlando on Oct 14

The lights went down at the House of Blues and Walk the Moon takes the stage. As the adoration of the packed crowd calms down slightly, the band launches into a rendition of “Circle of Life” by Elton John. Fitting since they are on Disney property.

WALK THE MOON to Perform at House of Blues Orlando October 14, 2015

Riding high on their new album, the quartet known as WALK THE MOON will be bringing their tour to Orlando at the House of Blues on Wednesday, October 14.

WALK THE MOON

The band was founded in 2008 by singer/keyboardist Nicholas Petricca, who derived their name from the song “Walking on the Moon” by The Police. They released their debut album in 2010, receiving airplay for the single “Anna Sun,” then signed to RCA records and released their self-titled major label debut in 2012, which combined their indie album with new tracks.
