Thanksgiving is a holiday of food, family, and fun, but sometimes it’s nice to let someone else take care of the cooking…and the dishes. If this sounds like you, there are plenty of places to celebrate the 2019 holiday in Orlando.

Universal Orlando will host the Grand Opening of its new TODAY Cafe on May 16, and its namesake TODAY Show will be broadcasting live.
Since the cafe is inside the park, you must have a ticket or an annual pass to be a part of the live broadcast. Annual passholders can register online for the chance to be in the live audience.
If you’re not part of the live audience, you can watch it all from the comfort of wherever you happen to be starting at 7:30am on WESH or your local NBC affiliate.
Christmas dinner is an annual tradition enjoyed by families, but sometimes you don’t feel like cooking or you’re on vacation in Orlando and want to enjoy your Christmas dinner out at a restaurant.
There are a lot of places to enjoy a holiday meal in the Orlando area, but here are some of our picks for restaurants serving up feasts on Christmas Day 2018:
This spring, guests at LEGOLAND Florida will be able to indulge their craving for fried sweets when the Funnel Cake Factory opens in the park.
Further expanding on the park dining options, Universal Orlando has announced it will begin offering a Marvel Character dinner starting December 7.
This dinner buffet will feature fresh salads like orzo and mozzarella and tomato. Entrees will include roasted rosemary lemon chicken, shrimp scampi and chicken scallopini, along with penne Bolognese, stuffed jumbo shells and specialty pizzas. Desserts will finish the meal.
Chocolate fans in the Orlando area will be happy to hear Universal Orlando will be opening the Toothsome Chocolate Factory & Savory Feast Emporium at CityWalk before the end of this year.
Located in the space that formerly housed the NBA City restaurant, the new sweets eatery will have a 19th-century Steampunk look from the decor to the fashion.
Now open for the sports fans, Universal Orlando‘s NBC Sports Grill & Brew held their grand opening Friday, October 23, with a bevy of sports figures and celebrities on hand.
NBC Sports commentators Bob Costas, Cris Collinsworth, Hines Ward and Michele Tafoya were joined by the likes of Paul Burmeister, Doug Flutie, Rebecca Lowe, Jeremy Roenick, Kathryn Tappen, Lauren Thompson and Gary Williams.
Visitors to SeaWorld Orlando now have another dining option with the newly opened Mama’s Pretzel Kitchen.
The menu features a selection of creations that elevate the ordinary soft pretzel treat.
The world’s first-ever NBC Sports Grill & Brew is coming to Universal Orlando‘s CityWalk, and it is scheduled to open this fall.
Located in the space that formerly held the NASCAR Sports Grill, this new restaurant will up the bar for sports-dining experiences.
SeaWorld Orlando has just sent out notice of a new restaurant to open at the theme park this summer.
It’s currently under development, so the only details they have given us are that it will serve dozens of sweet and savory pretzel combinations, along with craft beer.
