If you haven’t been to Halloween Horror Nights 23 at Universal Orlando, the park has put together an interactive video of the event and all of its houses.
After a short intro, the video asks you to pick a house to check out. But be quick…you only have 23 seconds to choose or else… Really, if you take too long to choose, you will encounter the evil that lurks the streets during the popular scarefest.
Here is the video:

Last week, the following photo was tweeted out by a member of the Universal Orlando pr team. It shows a sneak peek at the set for The Walking Dead house at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights.
What do you think? Looks a lot like the TV show prison set, doesn’t it? Does this make you look forward to going through The Walking Dead house?
Other houses at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights include originals Afterlife: Death’s Vengeance, Havoc 2: Derailed, and Urban Legends: La Llorona, along with houses based on the movies Cabin in the Woods, Evil Dead, and An American Werewolf in London.

This week, Universal Orlando announced they were bringing back The Walking Dead to Halloween Horror Nights 23, and zombie fans will get more than they bargained for this year.
The maze/house will be themed after season 3’s prison, the West Georgia Correctional Facility, which is now overrun by hordes of flesh-eating walkers, as well as the town of Woodbury, and the wilderness in between.
But that’s not all.
The theme park will also dedicate it’s entire HHN23 street experience to the show, making this the first time ever that all of the scare zones throughout the park will be themed after a hit television series.
That’s right, just walking the streets of Universal Studios Florida (where UO hosts HHN), guests will encounter iconic scenes from all three seasons of the hit show – including the perilous city of Atlanta and Hershel’s barn – and fleets of blood-thirsty walkers who are hungry for their next victim
We already announced that Halloween Horror Nights XXII will be taking on the Silent Hill franchise. Now comes word that “The Walking Dead” will also be invading Universal Studios Orlando for the annual event.
The hit AMC television series is loosely based on the comics of the same name, and involves a plot where the entire world seems to be taken over by “walkers” – another name for zombies. The series tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse. It’s seen from the perspective of a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, who travel in search of a safe and secure home.
The premise behind this HHNXXII haunted maze is described on the event’s website as:
There is strength in numbers and you must band together to make it through many of the iconic settings made famous by the critically-acclaimed AMC hit, “The Walking Dead.” As the city is crawling with hordes of walkers, the issue of your becoming one of them is not a question of if, but when.
The haunted maze will feature elaborately designed, movie-quality sets that include some of the most iconic locations and scenes from the show. Meanwhile, hordes of undead walkers will bring to life the vicious, hungry, zombies from the show.
I am a big fan of the series and can’t wait to see how Universal brings it to life at the theme park.
Halloween Horror Nights is an after-hours, separate-ticket event. It takes over the entire Universal Studios Orlando theme park with haunted-house mazes, shows and scare zones. It operates 25 select nights from Sept. 21 to Oct. 31, 2012.
Tickets are on sale online at www.HalloweenHorrorNights.com/orlando.
The incorporation of “The Walking Dead” coincides with the upcoming season three, which is due to start airing on AMC on October 14, 2012.
If you like comics, graphic novels and/or zombies, you’ll definitely want to be at A Comic Shop in Winter Park for this special event.
On Thursday, June 30, 2011, Charlie Adlard will be making an appearance at the store. Adlard is the artist of “The Walking Dead” graphic novels, which are the basis for the popular TV series of the same name.
He will be appearing from 4pm to 8pm to meet his fans, sign autographs and take photos with.
If you don’t have anything for him to sign, the store currently has a deal going where if you buy “The Walking Dead” volume 1 for $10, you get volume 2 for free.
A Comic Shop is located at 114 S. Semoran Blvd in Winter Park. For more details, call 407-332-9636 or visit the store’s Facebook page.
