Every year, immediately following the end of the Super Bowl, you hear the words, “I’m going to Disney World!” This year, following the win by the Baltimore Ravens, MVP quarterback Joe Flacco was the one who said it.
He kept his promise today, when he arrived at Walt Disney World and participated in a parade down Main Street, U.S.A., at Magic Kingdom.
Riding in a car, with a football uniform-clad Mickey Mouse, Flacco was cheered on by the guests who lined the parade route.
This event was part of this week’s Limited Time Magic promotion, Countdown to Super Sunday, which runs through February 9, 2013.

In honor of Super Bowl weekend, Walt Disney World’s fourth Limited Time Magic event will be Countdown to Super Sunday, running from Feb 1 through 9, 2013.
Starting today (Feb 1), you’ll be able to se a pre-parade celebration, just prior to the daily “Celebrate a Dream Come True” parade at the Magic Kingdom. It features Disney football star Goofy, cheerleaders, Central Florida youth football champions, and other character favorites. This will happen through Sunday, February 3.
On Feb 4, Magic Kingdom will host the annual ticker-tape parade down Main Street, U.S.A., featuring a member of the winning Super Bowl team.
Cosmic Ray’s in the park will also have special Super Sunday menu items from February 1 through 9, including “Soup-er Bowls” of lobster bisque and tomato basil bisque.

One of the newest tenants at Downtown Disney is Splitsville Luxury Lanes, and on February 3, they’re holding a “Clean The World Super Bowling Party” to celebrate the Super Bowl.
Admission, which includes complimentary appetizers, a buffet, and open bar from 6pm to 9pm, is $75 per person (21 and older only). Open bowling is an additional $20. Buy tickets online to reserve your spot.
Splitsville has 40 flat-panel TV screens for game watching, along with three full bars.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the Orlando-based Clean The World Foundation. This nonprofit organization collects and recycles soap and shampoo products from the hospitality industry and distributes them to impoverished communities worldwide.
Splitsville is located at Downtown Disney’s West Side, between the AMC theaters and DisneyQuest (in the building that formerly held the Virgin Megastore).
