To help you get through this quarantine, enjoy a weekly Southern Fried Sunday curated free streaming music festival supporting local musicians, the staff of SFS’s home venue Will’s Pub, & a charity assisting in COVID-19 relief, all paired with delivery of a local focused dinner from The New Standard.
The acts performing will be accepting virtual tips through their preferred cash app.
The music starts at 2pm every Sunday until performance venues open back up at SFS’s Facebook page link below.
Orlando’s Southern Fried Sunday music festival moves online for a free streaming #StayHome Fest event on Sunday, March 29, 2020.
The Southern Fried Sunday events feature a mixture of roots music genres paired with Southern/Soul food, and are usually held at Will’s Pub in Orlando. But this Sunday, you can enjoy it all from home, where you should be sheltering in place anyways.
It’s not often that you can get a day long music festival and a great BBQ dinner at a low dough price, but this Sunday, you can do just that.
This month’s installment of Southern Fried Sunday is their “End of Summer Shake-Up on Mills” and features three venues full of regional and local music, plus dinner, for the price of $10 in advance/$12 day of.
Even better, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Mustard Seed of Central Florida, to help them purchase a new box truck to pick up donations of furniture and household items so they can continue to serve Central Florida families transitioning from shelter living into their new homes.
Will’s Pub, Lil Indies & The Peacock Room will play host to over 20 bands. Those attending will also get to enjoy a Southern Style BBQ Dinner prepared with help from Tako Cheena and Smiling Bison. The event starts at 4pm, and it is 21 and over.
For more information, a listing of bands, or to purchase tickets, visit the SFS Facebook page.
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day 2013, with a special edition of Southern Fried Sunday at Will’s Pub and Lil Indies, on March 17.

All of this is yours for the measley price of $10. Tickets are available online or at Will’s Pub.
Doors are at 5pm, music starts at 5:30pm, and dinner starts at 6pm. Must be 21 and over to attend.

What is SFS? It’s an all day party with local music and great food.
This weekend’s edition has tunes by The Lonesome City Travelers, The Mud Flappers, The Kitschy Kittens Burlesque Troop with Giddy Up Go and WPRK’s DJ White Lightnin’ plus a special festival closing performance by Tampa’s The Lambasters (formerly Nervous Turkey).
Grub includes a BBQ and fried chicken dinner, along with sides. Yum!
Best of all, it’s only $7 to attend, or $2 if you have a Summer Stock Fest weekend wristband.
SFS runs from 5:30pm to 11:30pm at Will’s Pub (1042 N. Mills Ave).
