Out and About: Sleuth’s Mystery Dinner Shows Offers Fun Experience for All
I recently had the chance to experience Sleuth’s Mystery Dinner Shows with the Central Florida Lady Bloggers group, and I found the experience to be so much fun!
We attended a Sunday night showing of Squire’s Inn, where it was our job to suss out who killed the former proprietor of said inn among the cast of characters.
After we checked in, we were rounded up by our “tour guide” and brought into the theater room, which doubled as Squire’s Inn. We met several of the show’s characters as we were seated at our tables.
We started our meal with a salad, crackers and cheese, and our choice of beverages – beer, wine (red or white), or soda.
The majority of the show takes place before the entrees arrive, and while the show is hilarious and witty, it’s each person’s job to pay attention to the clues being presented (some are fleeting). The show is usually 50% improv, so no performance is ever the same.
The show then breaks so we can eat and discuss what we’d seen.
