The Shula family of restaurants is bringing their Shula Burger concept to Central Florida with a location that will be opening in Kissimmee.

Shula’s signature burgers are freshly made from a blend of premium black angus beef, short rib and brisket. There are several pre-made burger topping combos (including the pictured “Southwest” burger), or you can make your own combo. The menu also includes chicken breast sandwiches, turkey and veggie burgers, hot dogs, and salads.

The company’s eateries include the famous Shula’s Steakhouse, which has an Orlando location at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin hotels, so you know the burgers will be good.

The restaurant’s website says the restaurant will open at the Rolling Oaks Plaza at 8124 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, west of Walt Disney World. Opening date is set for October 14, 2013.

A second location already is in the works near downtown Orlando, with several more Central Florida outlets expected in the future.
