Hard to believe it’s been 30 years since the release of Cyndi Lauper‘s classic album She’s So Unusual. But it has been, and Lauper is currently touring in support of that anniversary. That tour will arrive at the House of Blues Orlando on Sunday, November 10.
Recorded and released in 1983, Lauper’s debut made her a household name and also cemented her place in musical history as the first female artist to have four top 10 singles on a debut album. She won a Best New Artist Grammy from the album, too.
Lauper will perform the album in its entirety, including hits like “Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” “Time After Time,” “She Bop,” “Money Changes Everything,” and “All Through the Night.”
Tickets for the all ages show $35.50 in advance, $38.50 day of, and can be purchased online or at the House of Blues box office. Opening will be Hunter Valentine.
There are also a limited number of VIP Upgrade packages that include a pre-show photo meet & greet with Lauper, a signed tour poster, and a collectable VIP laminate. Cost is $250 in addition to the ticket and proceeds will go to the Trayvon Martin Foundation. The package must be purchased online prior to the show.
