Individual day passes range from $30-$40, but the best deal is the Weekend Pass at $50. VIP weekend passes are $120 and include preferred seating at panels and more.

It’s almost Mother’s Day, and 2021 is starting to look a lot better than last year for celebrating your mom/mother figure.
Many restaurants and attractions are back open, and offering special deals or dinners/brunches to enjoy. Plus, a lot of people are getting vaccinated, making it safer to spend time together.
I’ve perused all the listings and press emails, and here are CitySurfing Orlando’s picks for celebrating moms on Mother’s Day, May 9, 2021. All prices do not include tax or gratuity (please don’t forget to tip!). Under the restaurant list are some fun events happening to enjoy with mom, too.
This time of year, we’d normally be offering up a huge list of Easter dining and family events for you to enjoy, but 2021 is different with COVID-19 and the quarantine.
Thankfully, with more people getting vaccinated, local restaurants and other businesses are offering more Easter brunches and dinners, as well as fun Easter-themed things to do as a family.

The annual Pineapple Ball, a Central Florida Hospitality Hall of Fame Induction Celebration, returns to Rosen Shingle Creek on Saturday, October 17.
The event, produced by the UCF Rosen College of Hospitality Management will honor 2015 inductees Ron Dowdy of Dowdy Properties, and Maria Triscari of the International Drive Resort Area Chamber of Commerce.
This weekend, I was honored to attend this year’s Orlando’s Taste of the Nation event at Orlando World Center Marriott, and it was a fabulous event full of great food and lots of giving.
The event raises benefits Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry platform, as well as local organizations Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida and Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
