If you’re a fan of women’s roller derby, then you’ll want to check out the season opener for the Orlando Area Derby Revolution, on April 14, 2013.
This team participates in full-contact women’s-only roller derby, and they are skater owned-and-operated. In addition, all proceeds from the games and fundraisers are used for league operating costs.
The OADR will be competing against the Thunder City Derby Sirens out of Deland, FL.
Tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door (cash only). There is limited seating, so it’s recommended that you bring chairs.
The event takes place at Barber Park (3701 Gatlin Ave in Orlando) at 5pm.

The Orlando Area Derby Revolution women’s roller derby team will be holding a fundraiser for their upcoming season at Will’s Pub on Sunday, April 7, from 6pm to 9pm.
There will be games and raffles, both with prizes. There will also be karaoke with DJ Scott Wilde. Cover is $3.
Will’s Pub is located at 1042 N. Mills Ave in Orlando.
