Headliners Announced for Rock the Universe 2018 at Universal Orlando
On Sept. 7 and 8, Rock the Universe is back for a weekend filled with faith and worship at Universal Orlando, and they’ve announced the line-up of headliners.
2018’s incredible talent line-up features some of the genre’s biggest names like Casting Crowns, Jesus Culture, and TobyMac, all of whom will perform on the Music Plaza Stage inside Universal Studios Florida.

Universal Orlando has announced the line up for this year’s edition of Rock the Universe, and it features some of the biggest names in Christian music.
In addition to the music, the popular theme park event allows guests to enjoy favorite rides like Transformers and Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket throughout the weekend.

Rock the Universe Returns to Universal Orlando September 5-6, 2014
Rock the Universe Christian music festival returns to Universal Orlando the weekend of September 5 and 6.
Musical acts on Friday include Third Day, Newsboys, and Jeremy Camp. On Saturday, bands include Switchfoot, Lecrae, and TobyMac. In addition to the music, there will be inspiring guest speakers, a candlelighting ceremony, and more.
The event takes place inside Universal Studios. During the event, many of the attractions will also be open, including the newly opened The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley.
Universal Orlando Gets Ready to Rock The Universe Again September 6-7, 2013
One of Universal Orlando‘s biggest annual events is Rock the Universe, which is a two day Christian music festival that will take place this year the weekend of September 6-7, 2013.
Among the headliners are 2012 Grammy winners Lecrae, Grammy award-winning group and Daytona Beach natives Casting Crowns; Grammy nominated and winner of 20 Dove Awards Chris Tomlin ; and rock band Switchfoot, which has sold millions of albums worldwide.
The full two-day line-up is as follows:
- Friday, September 6: Switchfoot, Chris Tomlin, Crowder, Tenth Ave North, Family Force 5, Colton Dixon, and Kyle Sherman
- Saturday, September 7: Casting Crowns, Jesus Culture, Lecrae, Relient K, Red, Everfound, and Crave
Returning this year is the Fan Zone presented by Coca-Cola where guests will enjoy live music by Dara McClean, OBB and Love & The Outcome, autograph sessions with the bands, karaoke and band merchandise.
Rock the Universe at Universal Orlando in September 2012
The beginning of September will see thousands of Christian music fans visiting Universal Orlando to see their favorite bands in concert.

Rock the Universe is the theme park’s annual Christian music festival and this year it features some of the most popular names in the genre, performing over two days.
On Friday, September 7, Skillet, Newsboys, and Jeremy Camp will headline a line-up that also features For King & Country, Family Force 5, Robert Pierre, Group 1 Crew, We As Human, and Everfound.
Saturday, September 8, sees tobyMac, Switchfoot, and Reliant K headlining, with Britt Nicole, Tenth Avenue North, Rhett Walker Band, Group 1 Crew, We As Human, and Everfound also on the bill.
Saturday night there will also be a candle lighting service featuring Tenth Avenue North, guest speakers and more.
Both nights, guests can also enjoy a Fan Zone presented by Coca-Cola including live music by up-and-coming acts Everfound and We As Human, autograph sessions with the bands, karaoke and band merchandise.
Oh, yeah, and you can also do all the normal park attractions and rides, since the festival takes place inside the Universal Studios park.
Rock the Universe is a separately ticketed event. A two-day pass is $85.99, and a one-day pass is $52.99. There are discounts for ticket buyers with a Universal Orlando annual pass. Buy online to see other ticket options.

Christian Musicans to Rock the Universe This Weekend at Universal Orlando
Looking for a weekend of positive, uplifting Christian pop and rock music? Universal Orlando’s annual Rock the Universe music festival will do the trick.
Held at the Universal Studios side of the two theme parks, the event takes place September 10 and 11. This is a separately ticketed event and each night starts at 4pm and runs until 1am.
Scheduled to appear on Friday are Skillet, Newsboys, Jars of Clay, Hawk Nelson, Decyfer Down, Kutless, and Chuck Tocco.
Scheduled to appear on Saturday are Relient K, tobyMac, Jeremy Camp, Grits, Needtobreathe, Fireflight, and Jeff Chandler.
In addition to the concerts, many of the park’s attractions and rides will also be up and running.
Tickets for each day are $57.95 (plus tax) per person, or you can buy a two-night pass for $84.95 (plus tax) per person.
