As of October 31, 2013, Walt Disney World will charge a fee for no shows at all of its table service restaurants.
Guests will be required to provide a credit card for table service reservations, and if guests do not cancel at least a day in advance, or simply do not show, there will be a $10 fee per person charged to that card. In the case of pre-paid restaurants and venues such as dinner shows, the entire amount will be retained in the event of failing to cancel in time.
The new policy applies to non-Disney operated restaurants on property, as well.
Cancellations must be made prior to 11:59pm the day before the reservation, and can be done on the Disney Dining website, by phone at 407-WDW-CNCL, at guest relations or in person at the restaurant.
