I-Shops Will Bring More Retail and Dining to I-Drive and Sand Lake Intersection in Orlando

I-Shops

If you’ve been wondering what all that construction happening at the intersection of I-Drive and Sand Lake Rd was, it’s the creation of the new I-Shops complex.

Formerly the site of the Wyndham Hotel, I-Shops will feature numerous retail and dining outlets, near to the new Orlando Eye complex. The layout will resemble an outdoor mall, similar to Waterford Lakes, with plenty of parking in the center, as well as a garage at one end.

Currently signed tenants include a Walgreens (without a pharmacy), Cooper Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Wawa, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewery, Cold Stone Creamery/Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, O’Neill’s surf shop, Starbucks, LongHorn Steakhouse, Chuy’s Tex-Mex and a UPS store.

There will be staggered openings, but I-Shops expects to be fully open by the end of the year.
