Kids Carnival and Free CPR Lessons Added to Relay For Life of Hunter’s Creek 2013 on November 9, 2013

Relay For Life of Hunter’s Creek 2013 is going to be held on November 9, at Osprey Park, and you are invited to join them to help raise money for the American Cancer Society.

Relay For Life of Hunter's Creek 2013Registration and check-in for the event starts at 1pm on Saturday.

In addition to helping to the relay itself, there will be a Kids Carnival for the little ones to have fun. There will be free health & sun safety activities, balloon artists, face painting (for a donation), and more. There will also be tickets for purchase available onsite for bounce houses & slides, carnival games, and more.

The Kids Carnival runs from 1:30pm – 6pm., which will include a kid’s lap for the relay

At 6pm, there will be a FREE Mass CPR class which will be taught by a certified American Heart Association Instructor. Participants will get a certificate of attendance.

Stay through the end of the event and participate in the Luminaria Ceremony at 9pm, which will serve to remember people lost to cancer, to support people who currently have cancer, and to honor people who have fought cancer in the past.

For more information, or to sign up to participate in the relay itself, visit relayforlife.org/hunterscreekfl.

And if you can’t make it, consider donating to my friend Jen’s Relay Fundraising page. She’s only $20 from reaching her goal.
