Today, the Orlando Predators announced they have decided to suspend operations. It was an unexpected shock to Orlando sports fans.

ArenaBowl XXVI will be coming to the Amway Center in Orlando August 2013; KISS to Perform
It was announced this week that ArenaBowl XXVI would be held at the Amway Center in Orlando on August 17, 2013. It will be the highlight of a three-night event that will include a concert by the legendary rock group KISS.
The ArenaBowl is the Arena Football League’s (AFL) annual Championship game pitting the winner of the American Conference versus the winner of the National Conference, and it will air live on CBS starting at 1pm.
According to VisitOrlando, the game will be part of a weekend celebration centered around AFL events.
- Thursday, August 15 – The Annual ArenaBall and Award ceremony honoring the offensive MVP, defensive MVP, AFL player of the year along with other team and organizational awards.
- Friday, August 16 – KISS will kick off their Monster World Tour with a concert at the Amway Center.
- Saturday, August 17 – Arena Bowl XXVI at Amway Center.
Further details, such as ticket prices, haven’t been announced yet.
The only thing that would make this news better is if the Orlando Predators is one of the teams competing in ArenaBowl XXVI.
