The Orlando Philharmonic is holding a new 3-concert chamber music series that will feature up-close performances by its principal musicians.
The Tuesday night Principals at The MEZZ concerts will take place at The MEZZ, inside the Sanctuary Building (100 S Eola Dr, Orlando). This lounge-style event has only 150 seats available, and will feature live music with commentary from the musicians. There will also be hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and opportunities for patrons to mingle with the musicians after the performance.
The series starts off February 26 with a Principal Winds concert, then continues on April 9 with Principal Strings. The series wraps up with a Principal Brass concert on April 16. All shows starts at 7pm. There is also a pre-concert social starting at 6pm.
Tickets are $40 for one, $70 for two, or $99 for all three. Tickets may be purchased online, or by phone at 407-770-0071.
The Principals at The MEZZ series is sponsored in part by Overture, the Orlando Phiharmonic’s Young Patrons Group, which aims to foster and promote a new audience for the orchestra.
