Several of Orlando’s music community leaders have teamed up to present ORLANDO MUSIC CARES, a live-streamed charity telethon to benefit the World Central Kitchen that will take place May 25, 2020.
Local singer/songwriter Casey Conroy will be performing a free show at Full Sail Live at Full Sail University on Tuesday, August 18.
Conroy, just 17, has already performed at the 2015 Florida Music Festival’s GRAMMY Showcase at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, BB King’s Blues Club Orlando, the Orlando Amphitheater, the Orlando Fringe Festival. She has also performed a two-hour sold out show at The Abbey, and currently has a recurring monthly show at The Venue.
This week, via her Facebook page, Orlando musician Emily Kopp let it be known that she will be releasing new music this fall.
The album, currently titled “Serendipity Find Me,” will drop October 15, 2013. I’m sure there will be a release party/show around that date where you can get your hands on a copy.
In the meantime, Kopp will be headlining a show at The Social on August 1, where I’m sure she’ll play tunes from the upcoming album. Tickets are only $10 in advance ($12 day of), and joining her will be Built to Be Broken and Laney Jones.
She also released an album teaser video for everyone to enjoy:
