Comedian Carlos Mencia returns to Orlando for a four-night engagement at the Orlando Improv October 30 through November 2.
After graduating from high school, he decided to try stand-up, performing at amateur nights at The Laugh Factory in L.A., then later showcasing at The Comedy Store. Mencia went on to be named “International Comedy Grand Champion” from Buscando Estrellas (the Latino version of Star Search). This led to appearances on “In Living Color”, “The Arsenio Hall Show”, “Moesha” and ‘An Evening at the Improv”.
He then went on to headline several comedy specials for HBO and Comedy Central, which lead to the debut of “Mind of Mencia” on Comedy Central in 2005. Since the show went off the air, Mencia has been consistently touring, and this week he brings his show to Orlando.
