Holler and Dash has introduced a healthy new brunch dish for fall. The “Everyday I’m Brusselin’ Bowl” (pictured above) features shaved brussels sprouts, sun dried cranberries, apples, pecorino cheese, and lemon dijon vinaigrette. It’s available at all seven locations in the Southeast, including Holler and Dash Celebration.

Through September 30, restaurant-goers are invited to ‘Chip in the Fight Against Cancer‘ at all Tijuana Flats locations. The initiative will benefit Florida Hospital for Children and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
Out and About: Previewing the Visit Orlando Magical Dining Menu at Urbain 40
Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining month is a great opportunity to try out some of the city’s best restaurants, and I was recently invited to preview the Magical Dining menu at Urbain 40.
Chef Tim Keating (formerly of The Flying Fish at Walt Disney World) has crafted a delicious menu that pays homage to America’s melting pot influences, notably Italian and French.
2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival Starts Aug 30
The 2018 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival starts Thursday August 30, and I have the complete menus for each marketplace.
This festival is a perfect opportunity to literally eat and drink around the world with the Global Marketplaces located throughout the park. Most samples are $3-$8, though a few are more.
Out and About: Devouring Del Frisco’s Prime Pair Menu
If the carnivore in you loves a great steak, then you’ll want to head to Del Frisco’s on I-Drive (across from Pointe Orlando) to experience their limited-time Prime Pair menu.
We were recently invited to try out the menu, and walked away very happy.
The Prime Pair menu features a salad starter, an entree featuring the restaurant’s legendary crab cake plus your choice of second protein, and a side dish, all for only $59 per person.
Out and About: A Sneak Preview of the Visit Orlando Magical Dining Menu at Bulla Gastrobar
Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month presented by American Express is kicking off the celebration with a preview week beginning August 24th and continuing through September 30th.
Now in it’s 13th year, Magical Dining shows off the city’s amazing culinary scene with over 100 restaurants participating with special three-course menus, all for the fixed price of $35. There are dishes to please every palate and every diet including gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan.
I had an opportunity to preview the menu from Bulla Gastrobar in Winter Park. Bulla features Spanish and Portuguese cuisine, and the Magical Dining menu did not disappoint.

The annual Green Chile Festival is back at all Central Florida Chuy’s locations. It features a limited-time Green Chile Festvial menu, available through September 2. Try the Green Chile Chicken Flautas, or the King Carne Burrito stuffed with ground sirloin, bacon, French fried potatoes, green chiles and cheese.

Tijuana Flats is summer-izing their menu with the addition of Cheeseburger Tacos [pictured above]. These tacos consist of a tortilla filled with seasoned ground beef, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, ketchup and mustard. Instead of chips, Flats will include a side of seasoned fries.

Jamaican vegan eatery DaJen Eats Cafe & Creamery will be opening in Eatonville, at 323 E. Kennedy Blvd. (next to the Eatonville Town Hall), on August 1 with several days of soft openings before switching to a regular schedule August 7.
