It’s almost Mother’s Day, and 2021 is starting to look a lot better than last year for celebrating your mom/mother figure.

Many restaurants and attractions are back open, and offering special deals or dinners/brunches to enjoy. Plus, a lot of people are getting vaccinated, making it safer to spend time together.

I’ve perused all the listings and press emails, and here are CitySurfing Orlando’s picks for celebrating moms on Mother’s Day, May 9, 2021. All prices do not include tax or gratuity (please don’t forget to tip!). Under the restaurant list are some fun events happening to enjoy with mom, too.

This time of year, we’d normally be offering up a huge list of Easter dining and family events for you to enjoy, but 2021 is different with COVID-19 and the quarantine.

Thankfully, with more people getting vaccinated, local restaurants and other businesses are offering more Easter brunches and dinners, as well as fun Easter-themed things to do as a family.

Olive Garden is offering one free children’s menu item (children under 12) for every adult entree purchased on “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” on Thursday, April 24.

The “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” free kid’s meal coupon will be available at OliveGarden.com. The coupon is valid for lunch and dinner with the purchase of any adult entree.

Olive Garden recently completed the most comprehensive update in the restaurant’s history, adding more than 20 new menu items.

Olive Garden is inviting parents to take a break from their busy lives and share quality time together during an exclusive Parents’ Night Out event on Friday, Feb. 7.

The event will include a fun-filled evening of free games and activities for their kids at 145 participating My Gym locations and a 2-for-$25 Italian Dinner at their local Olive Garden.

Olive Garden’s 2-for-$25 Italian Dinner is an abundant three-course meal for two – all for $25. The offer includes unlimited breadsticks and choice of homemade soup or garden-fresh salad; choice of two entrees from a variety of delicious options, including New Parmesan Crusted Chicken and New Parmesan Crusted Prosciutto Tortellini; and choice of two Tastes of Italy Small Plates or a dessert to share.
