Ripley’s Orlando Odditorium Serves up Free Fall Fun with Second Annual Oddtoberfest on October 12, 2013

Ripley’s Orlando will pay homage to the unusual on Saturday, October 12, with its second annual Oddtoberfest celebration.

  • “Qubits” founder Mark Burginger will build a 13 foot tall tower made entirely from Qubits toy pieces. He and the company were featured on ABC’s Shark Tank.
  • Sensei Mike Reeves and his Over the Edge Team will display their amazing karate skills by breaking bricks and boards. They will even attempt to break a few world records!
  • “Trick Ropin’ Trevor” Dreher will display his world-class trick roping talents.
  • Live music from Beebs and her Money Makers, who recently appeared on the Vans Warped Tour and shot a video in the Orlando museum.
  • Vehicles from Melbourne-based Parker Brothers Concepts, including the Green Machine (an adult-sized Big Wheel powered by a motorcycle engine).

There will also be food trucks, face painting, carnival games, a bounce house and a temporary-tattoo artist.

The Oddtoberfest event runs from noon to 5pm, in the parking lot of the Orlando Odditorium at 8201 International Drive in Orlando. Admission into the attraction itself is not free and will require a ticket purchase.
