Foodies…get ready! Visit Orlando has announced the return of its Magical Dining Month, with a bonus preview week August 24-September 30, 2018.
Sponsored by American Express, the program was designed by Visit Orlando to showcase the wide variety of upscale and diverse dining throughout the destination, while also helping children in need.
More than 100 restaurants across the Orlando area will participate, with 19 new to Magical Dining Month. The wide range of venues spans areas from Disney Springs to Restaurant Row near the convention center to Universal Orlando, as well as neighborhood districts in downtown Orlando, Winter Park and beyond.
From Aug. 25 to Oct. 12, guests enjoyed three-course, $35 dinners at a record 118 restaurants across Central Florida., and $1 from each meal was donated Freedom Ride Inc. and BASE Camp Children’s Foundation.
This year far exceeded expectations with a record $208,620 raised for the charities!
Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month, sponsored by American Express, returns Aug. 25 – Oct. 1 with an unprecedented number of restaurants, each offering a three-course, prix fixe dinner menu for just $35 per person.
Celebrating its 12th year, the popular dining promotion offers over 100 restaurants throughout the Orlando area for local foodies or visiting gourmands who are looking to try out a local favorite or one of the hottest new venues added to Orlando’s growing culinary scene.
Returning for its ninth year, Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month will run the month of September, with a special preview week starting August 25, 2014.
Through September 30, more than 75 Orlando-area restaurants are serving up dining savings by offering delicious three-course dinners for only $33 a person.
New to Magical Dining Month are restaurants like Kasa Restaurant & Bar, Mingo’s, Bistro CloClo, and Eddie V’s. They join returning favorites like Emeril’s Orlando, Emeril’s Tchoup Chop, The Capital Grille, Siro: Urban Italian Kitchen, Funky Monkey Wine Company, and Maxine’s on Shine.
$1 from every meal served during Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month will benefit the Foundation for Foster Children, which supports local foster youth by providing intensive tutoring, typical childhood experiences and volunteer mentors who assist foster children transition into adulthood successfully.
Visit Orlando is also giving visitors a way to extend the savings even further with Magical Nights. More than 15 dine-and-stay packages pair dinner for two with a one-night hotel stay, starting from $149 per night including:
Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress – Standard Guest Room and dinner for two at Hemingway’s Restaurant, starting at $149 per night
Rosen Shingle Creek – Deluxe Room and dinner for two at A Land Remembered or Cala Bella, starting at $185 per night
The Alfond Inn – Standard Guest Room and dinner for two at Hamilton’s Kitchen, starting at $249 per night
Orlando has a wonderful selection of gourmet restaurants and one of the best times to try some of them out is during Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining Month promotion. Luckily for you, that month happens to be September 2011.
Until September 30, you can dine out at select bistros and restaurants around town for only $30 a meal. This meal is a set three-course dinner menu that includes an appetizer, entree and dessert from a special menu created by the eatery just for this event.
Among the restaurants participating this year are Bici Ristorante, Emeril’s , Emeril’s Tchoup Chop, Latin Quarter and The Kitchen at Universal Orlando; Crave at Mall at Millenia; The Boheme downtown; both Funky Monkey Wine Company locations; Le Coq Au Vin; Roy’s Hawaiian; Seasons 52; and Todd English’s Bluezoo at Walt Disney World Swan.
As a bonus, $1 from each meal will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida.
