It’s almost Mother’s Day, and 2021 is starting to look a lot better than last year for celebrating your mom/mother figure.
Many restaurants and attractions are back open, and offering special deals or dinners/brunches to enjoy. Plus, a lot of people are getting vaccinated, making it safer to spend time together.
I’ve perused all the listings and press emails, and here are CitySurfing Orlando’s picks for celebrating moms on Mother’s Day, May 9, 2021. All prices do not include tax or gratuity (please don’t forget to tip!). Under the restaurant list are some fun events happening to enjoy with mom, too.
This time of year, we’d normally be offering up a huge list of Easter dining and family events for you to enjoy, but 2021 is different with COVID-19 and the quarantine.
Thankfully, with more people getting vaccinated, local restaurants and other businesses are offering more Easter brunches and dinners, as well as fun Easter-themed things to do as a family.

Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando invites families to take a prehistoric adventure 65 million years in the making by booking a stay in its new Jurassic World kids’ suites.
Emeril Lagasse is known for his Cajun cuisine, but when it came time to open his second restaurant in Orlando, he looked to the South Pacific for inspiration.
The result is Emeril’s Tchoup Chop, one of the signature restaurants at Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando.
The chef recently revamped the lunch menu, and we were invited to come check it out.

The fest happens twice a year, and features more than 60 specialty craft beers, along with small bites (this month’s food selections have a German theme), live music by Beth McKee, and more.
