Spoleto Italian Kitchen, known for its create-your-own pastas, has officially launched a line of wood-fired artisan sandwiches (pictured above). Choose from the Italiano, Veggie, Panino Roast Beef, Prosciutto and Burrata and Chicken Parmesan and each comes with a side salad or side soup. Prices for the sandwich meals range from $8 to $10.50. Spoleto has four Orlando-area locations in Winter Park, Windermere, the Florida Mall and by UCF.
Central Florida’s Krispy Kreme locations are helping to make kids’ sweet dreams come true in March 2018, in partnership with Give Kids The World Village.
From March 1-31, the Winter Park, Millenia, Kissimmee, Melbourne and Daytona Beach Krispy Kreme shops are collecting donations to benefit children with life-threatening illnesses.

Hemingway’s debuts Flavors of Summer Menu at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, starting August 15.

Shake Shack is adding two new items to its menu starting June 3. The first is the Bacon CheddarShack Burger. a all natural Angus beef hamburger topped with smoked Niman Ranch bacon and Wisconsin aged cheddar cheese sauce. A single will price at $6.89 and a double will be $9.69.

Last week I attended a blogger event called #OrlandoMeetandSweet that showcased several local dessert companies, and it was a great evening of yummy treats.
Held by The Blogger Meetup at Ember, it was an evening of local bloggers combined with local companies showcasing their sweet products.
I started by taking photos of all of the treats before I started sampling. I figured I’d get that out of the way before I got sugared up.

The new Java Chip Doughnut is a shell filled with chocolate and coffee flavored Kreme and topped with coffee flavored icing and mini chocolate chips.
Central Florida’s Krispy Kreme locations are helping to make kids’ sweet dreams come true. In partnership with Give Kids the World, Orlando area Krispy Kreme shops are collecting donations to benefit children with life-threatening illnesses.
Now through August 31, Krispy Kreme customers have the opportunity to make a $1 or $5 donation at checkout. A paper heart pin-up certificate will be displayed in-store, throughout the campaign, in recognition of your support. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit Give Kids The World.
There are three shops in the Orlando area:
- Krispy Kreme Winter Park – 1031 S. Orlando Ave (17-92). Drive-thru open 24 hrs. Inside open 5:30am-10pm (Sun-Thurs) and 5:30am-11pm (Fri-Sat).
