SeaWorld Orlando, crowned the Coaster Capital of Orlando, is celebrating National Roller Coaster Day on August 16 with the “Coaster Capital Challenge.”
On Tuesday, August 16, SeaWorld Orlando is challenging park guests to ride all six roller coasters in the park to celebrate National Roller Coaster Day.
Participating guests will get a lanyard to keep track of the roller coasters they ride.
SeaWorld Orlando has officially phased out the Kraken Unleashed’s VR headsets, returning the roller coaster to its original design.
Guests and the media were excited at the VR element to the ride when it was introduced in June 2017. The headsets added made riders feel like they were underwater on an adventure and dodging sea creatures.
SeaWorld Orlando has announced the park, along with Manta, Mako, Kraken and Journey to Atlantis, will stay open until midnight on August 17 for coaster enthusiasts to enjoy.
