It’s almost Mother’s Day, and 2021 is starting to look a lot better than last year for celebrating your mom/mother figure.
Many restaurants and attractions are back open, and offering special deals or dinners/brunches to enjoy. Plus, a lot of people are getting vaccinated, making it safer to spend time together.
I’ve perused all the listings and press emails, and here are CitySurfing Orlando’s picks for celebrating moms on Mother’s Day, May 9, 2021. All prices do not include tax or gratuity (please don’t forget to tip!). Under the restaurant list are some fun events happening to enjoy with mom, too.
This time of year, we’d normally be offering up a huge list of Easter dining and family events for you to enjoy, but 2021 is different with COVID-19 and the quarantine.
Thankfully, with more people getting vaccinated, local restaurants and other businesses are offering more Easter brunches and dinners, as well as fun Easter-themed things to do as a family.

Fans of rodeo won’t want to miss the one-night only Boots, Bulls and Barrels, coming to Silver Spurs Arena at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee on October 5, 2019.
Celebrating 75 years of tradition and rodeo, the 143rd Silver Spurs Rodeo returns to the Silver Spurs Arena at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee the weekend of May 31-June 1, 2019.
Each night will feature rodeo’s seven traditional events: bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, and women’s barrel racing.
Celebrating 75 years of tradition and rodeo, the 142nd Silver Spurs Rodeo returns to the Silver Spurs Arena at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee the weekend of Feb 15-17, 2019.
